I’ve spent over 20 years helping people feel calmer, clearer and more connected to what matters. My coaching style comes from real life.  The wins, the fails, the setbacks, and the moments of clarity found outdoors.

I’ve lived a full and varied life: two decades of coaching in the UK and Australia, navigating depression, running marathons, facing cancer, and learning how to make real change stick. I’ve been through some shit — and it’s help shape the coach I am today.

My purpose is simple: to empower people to help themselves live a more fulfilling, healthy, grounded life.

Where my coaching approach comes from

For years, I felt directionless. Low self-worth, unfulfilled, and stuck in my head. It took a particularly rough depressive episode and a big cry in the shower for me to finally reach out for help. That decision changed everything and began a 10 year journey.

With the support of my wife, a great therapist, and my creative expression, I rebuilt my confidence and started to understand what actually mattered to me. Those experiences now sit at the heart of how I work with my clients.

Today, I bring together:

• 20+ years of fitness coaching
• Counselling-informed skills
• Nature-based walking sessions in Sydney
• Strength-Based Therapy principles
• Essentialism’s “what matters now” philosophy
• My own trials of systems, methods and tools.

My aim is always the same: help clients slow down and simplify, cut through the noise, and take meaningful, realistic action.

Who I work with

I coach professionals and business owners who are capable, driven and self-aware — but often stretched near burnout. Most are juggling work, home, family, and endless demands, and what slips through the cracks is their own needs and wellbeing.

They don’t need a drill sergeant. They need a calm guide, a sounding board, and someone who will help them reset their stress, rebuild their energy and make clearer decisions. That’s where I come in.

How I coach

I’m not here to drown you in theory. I help you move — physically, mentally and emotionally. I'm all about realistic and sustainable action that fits into your life where you're at now.

My coaching blends:

• Fitness workouts at your level (boxing, running, movement) to shift your state
• Walk-and-talk sessions where nature helps do the work
• Supportive, reflective, and encouraging conversation
• Practical action steps based on your strengths and values

As a reformed perfectionist I know firsthand how easy it is to get stuck planning rather than doing. So we keep things simple: what matters now, what you’re great at, and what small action will move you forward today.

Why I coach

Because I’ve lived the dark times and the overwhelm. Because I know what it feels like to carry everything alone. And because a good guide makes change easier and less painful.
